Jesus Is Greater.

1 John 4: 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Thanks be to God, who have bestowed upon us a high calling, which allows us to enjoy the authority and power of God in Jesus. Yes, in Jesus’ Name we have authority over every evil principality and power. You cannot be overcome by evil spirits because Jesus is much greater than all spirits. This verse should help you to come out of fear and encourage you to stand for the truth. In this country, we hear about all kinds of evil spiritual encounter and activities. These things do cause many to be fearful and they try to avoid “disturbing” the so-called spiritual harmony. However, as believers, we do not need to be afraid because Jesus has given us His Name. We can pray and declare freedom or healing or deliverance in Jesus’ Name and receive the answer. We are placed among people who are living in fear so that we can tell them that Jesus is the only way through whom there is salvation, healing and deliverance. Therefore, be the people of power that He has called us to be.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving me Jesus’ Name and the authority invested in His name. I want to live a victorious life and declare every day that Jesus is greater than all that is in the world. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

Luke 10: 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
